Stephanie Burchell PhD LMFT PCC

Stephanie Burchell PhD is a Licensed Therapist and Certified Professional Coach. Dr. Burchell completed her clinical training at the Beaver’s Family Studies Center at UT Southwestern in Dallas. She holds a Doctorate in Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University and a Masters of Science in Human Development from The University of Texas at Dallas. She is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR), and the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (TAMFT).

Dr Burchell has extensive training and experience in the application of Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), an empirically validated model that is highly effective for relieving distress among couples, reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, resolving conflict, restoring lines of communication and re-establishing a secure emotional bond.

She has further experience in The Gottman Method, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, with the use of Mindfulness and Experiential interventions, She helps her clients improve their emotional wellness by utilizing techniques designed to strengthen the mind-body connection and increase awareness, clarity, and intuition.

In addition to her clinical experience, Stephanie is also a Certified Professional Coach and an Erickson Solution Focused Coach and a Professional Member (PCC)of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She has coached a culturally diverse range of clients across a variety of professions and backgrounds ranging from board level and senior executives to lawyers, bankers and young entrepreneurs. 

With a background in psychology and a specialization in human relationships, she is currently developing a comprehensive model of Relational Intelligence. here to add your own text and edit me.
